A Ken Hammer kind of day!
- Learning something – could be reading a book, hearing a speaker, preparing for a class that I facilitate, or learning with my students – there is always an opportunity to learn
- Coffee and conversation with friends and family – like starting my day with friends at my Rotary meeting every Wednesday, meeting up with a friend at a community coffee shop, Saturday morning chats with family, sharing ideas with colleagues on campus – there is nothing quite like a good cup of coffee or great conversation
- Being outdoors – can be running around Westwood lake on a Saturday morning, working in the yard on a Sunday, walking Lucy (our dog) in Pioneer park or going for a training bicycle ride with friends early Thursday morning – being outdoors always makes for a better day!
- The 3 r’s (rest, relaxation and re-creation) can happen in many ways whether it be relaxing in a bubble bath, contemplating the day on a bus ride home or refreshing oneself through an early morning yoga session – that makes for a Ken Hammer kind of day!
